MEET THE INNKEEPERS
Dedra and Cord Weiss and their two daughters Clover and Nova, are the stewards of the Jersey Shore Hotel, Tandem Bike Inn. New Jersey native and musician, Cord, is an expert hospitality and entertainment coordinator, creating and managing live music production and bands in the wedding and event industry for decades. He brings a big personality and musical spirit to the inn. You may also spot him around town playing in one of the restaurants or pubs.
Owning a boutique inn is a lifelong dream for the couple, especially Dedra, who brings a nurturing energy and excitement to share her scrumptious breakfast recipes.
Dedra’s a true Renaissance woman who, in addition to working in hospitality, is also a pharmacist, herbal information specialist, artist, and beaded purse designer. Her dedication to community, care, and hospitality leads to a natural transition as a B&B owner. Their delightful daughters bring a youthful liveliness to the inn. You may catch their cheerful smiles as they set steaming cookies down for an afternoon snack, or merrily wave as they walk off to the local school in the morning.
Their little family shares their love for coastal living in beautiful Belmar with guests who’ll be welcomed as part of an extended family.
